SYNOPSIS, THE MAN OF RUGGED FAITH

Synopsis
“I assure you that if you have FAITH is as big as a mustard seed, you can say to this hill, ‘Go from here to there!’ and it will go. You can do anything”
Faith! What a unique and exciting thing for anyone to possess, but ‘How’ do you have it? That is where most ardent seekers of FAITH seem to be at a loss. “THE MAN OF RUGGED FAITH…” though may not have shown you directly ‘How’ to have FAITH but it has done all it can to show you the type of things you would be experiencing to know it is an opportunity for you to exercise your faith and perhaps know ‘HOW’ to have it.

The book is only fiction when and only when you are considering names of characters, places and institutions; but that is where the fiction genre ends. Every experience depicted in this book is true. Perhaps the only modifications were simply to achieve exciting literal flow full of suspense drama, humor, tragedy and more wrapped into one!

The character, Gilbert Pepple stood firm when he had to resist the campus cultists even almost at the cost of his life and when he became a pastor equipped with great miracles powers; healing all diseases, raising the dead, whipping out childlessness but he himself was childless for an astonishing eight years yet he stood his ground and waited faithfully on the Lord despite intense and sustained efforts by his mother to arrange wives for him in addition to stinging public ridicule and insults. Mark Okeke lost his mother at his child birth, his father shortly before he sat for his secondary school certificate exams. Despite these challenges he had faith in the Lord and still became as graduate but that was not all; he had to resist becoming a fraudster, ritual killer and murderer to the extent as a result he had to sleep-in public squares and under the bridges until his faith lifted him to stardom.

On the other side, the character, Chief Odogwu was an acclaimed ritual killer, fraudster, cultist, corrupt politician and murderer and could and did everything under the high heaven no matter how creepy, to remain wealthy and in power. Jim Ogedegbe though a brilliant first class material from Pittsburgh University had meteoric banking and oil executive jobs but fate and lack of FAITH pushed him completely around the  bend, he became a cultist, serial murderer and even sacrificed his own wife to become rich.

These four characters and others clashed in major supernatural storm that left houses and establishments without roofs and windows, left bodies charred and mangled! On the heap of the ashes of the enormous destruction you can see the triumph of Faith over short cuts and Good over evil.
